Conservative radio talk show host Moon Griffon introduced Chris Gorman to a large group of supporters Thursday evening, June 19, at Designer Showroom in Shreveport.

Griffon told the crowd that Washington needs reform-minded individuals like Gorman, who will work to change Washington from the outside.

Gorman, who has called spiraling gas and diesel prices the single biggest threat to our economy, said the Congressmen in question are clearly out-of-touch with real Americans and should step down immediately.

On May 24th, the Shreveport Times joined the Gorman for Congress Campaign for an event-filled Saturday.  Reporter Alexandyr Kent wrote a front-page article about 14 year-old Hunter Gorman’s video chronicling of his father’s campaign.  The following is an excerpt from the front-page story:

Following cues from the presidential race, candidates in the 4th Congressional District race are pressing their campaigns online. All see it as a resource for raising money, while others are using their homepages to deliver unique videos and map out their political views in detail.

At age 14, Hunter Gorman can’t run for public office. He can hold a video camera, though. So he’s volunteered to document his father’s congressional campaign during summer vacation. Along with other filed candidates, Republican Chris Gorman is vying to replace retiring Rep. Jim McCrery.
